I was really lost today.......
I felt like I don't have a very clear direction that what profession I am going to be.

I was planing to make a portfolio for an 3D environmental artist, but it wasn't the real profession I want to became.

I want to became a concept artist.

but the reason why I am working on the environmental artist portfolio is because it is the fastest way to get into the video gaming   field.

I struggle with which one should I focus on more.

 finally I come up with an answer.

I will work on them both, on the 3D environmental artist portfolio

I had to make a lot of modeling practice, and then make multiple scene.

for the concept artist/character design, I will have to work on the basic drawing first.

So for this month and next month, no more digital stuff.

I am gonna do anatomy study and do more life drawing poses.
no creation for now.

Tonight I done 50 of 60sec pose.

will do 100 tomorrow, and start practice modeling.

Details on dota2 concept

So~~~ I am pretty much done with this Queen of Pain
I think I will start the digital painting for this after I get off from work tomorrow!

Hope this concept can tell a story, maybe Queen of Pain was a beautiful human-been before.
and after tortures and such she reborn with anger and pain.

 

Phantom Assassin still need some more detail I guess!
Um the main idea is just a simple word.

I really hope I can draw a lot more stuff.

I realize I got many software to learn.
I try to learn these 2 software since all the graphic designer job needs to know how to use them!

InDesign and Illustrator

buy these 2 books for 10 bucks hope they can help me get the licence!

and also I have to start learning this software

Softimage Mod Tool

in order to create piece for dota2 workshop~

this is the software they suggest on the web site

I did launch it for a quick peek tho~

The UI looks a lot like 3dmaxs, hope I don't have to spend a lot of time on learning this one.

I hope I get to learn Zbursh really quick though....
but I think I have to catch up on 3dmaxs and maya first.....

I kinda feel I waste too many time today that I can actually use those time to draw.......

Time waits for no one

I haven't update my blog for a long long time with personal issues.....=(

But~

Everything seems quite settle down right now, so I hope I can start updating my blog more often and put more stuff on here for people to see. =)

Here is a painting for my friend's birthday, she love it!
Well I personal think if I have more time to do this, it would turn out much better though.



The fun thing is my friend thinks I use the real martial to paint this painting wwwwww.

This painting is an experimental piece =S

I am trying to use new painting method to see how fast I can paint this.

And I was like wow =O!!........it really surprise me how fast I can do this~

in about 10 mins.

Here is just a logo I design for a GW2 guild. Fury of Order [FOO]

The idea is the dragon represent the "Fury"
but the problem is....
"Order" is really hard to present in an interesting way though. =/

My brain almost die to think what could represent "Order" and match the pattern "O" at the same time.

But I am just tire of thinking =____=

so I put 2 little squares there instead. (What ever!! xD
